At age 35, you have a
1 in 4 chance of being disabled longer than 90 days sometime during your
working lifetime!
Long Term Disability
Insurance (LTD) is designed to replace a part of your income
(usually up to 60%) if you are disabled for a long period of time. Most
policies have a time-deductible (known as an "elimination period")
before benefits begin. Usually this is 90, 180 days, though it can vary
by policy and insurer.
If you have a good health
history, you may be able to qualify for this valuable protection. Ask us
about plans available- we'll be glad to help!
